We were here for the fishing world championship, and the hotel made a great base. It's right across from the beach, with a fantastic location. The staff were professional and friendly, and there are different areas to enjoy in a great atmosphere.

Our fourth-floor room faced the sea and had a balcony, a lovely bonus since only a few rooms have one with a sitting area. Room 406 faces forward and has a balcony. There were two chairs and a parasol outside. Getting there from Nice airport by train and walking took us about 20 minutes. With heavy bags, I'd take a cab. The hotel has a cool reception area with a bar and seating, an outdoor spot at the front for drinks, and a restaurant for breakfast. Its location worked really well for us: the front door opens onto the beach, while the rear entrance leads straight into town. The room was all new, with an ensuite, plenty of towels, and enough wardrobe space for two. There was a safe, but no iron or board, and no fridge. Ask reception early for beach towels, as they run out quickly.

Our room opened onto a massive terrace, with privacy screens separating it from the other rooms and sun loungers for relaxing. The beach is right across the way. Breakfast was fantastic, the bed was really comfortable, and we had a wonderful two-day stay. The receptionist, I think her name was Isabelle, gave us such a warm welcome and is a real credit to the hotel.

The room looked out over the sea, which made it a very relaxing place to stay. It's close to both the waterfront and the center. The rooms are a little old, but that gives them some charm.

The sea view from the room was great, and I think the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast service was very good too. I'd recommend it and would be happy to go back. I'm proud of the hotel.
