The room was the highlight: very comfortable, with perfect bedding. Breakfasts were amazing, creative, and delicious, and the evening meals were a real treat. Catherine is lovely and attentive, and her advice about the area was excellent. It's ideally placed for visiting castles and taking beautiful bike rides. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The rooms have the feel of a castle, with exposed stone walls and excellent beds. The whole place is charming and wonderfully peaceful, and Catherine's service is always impeccable. Breakfast is a delight, generous and made with local produce. Mer itself is lovely, with plenty to do nearby.

We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the incredibly warm welcome. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and the establishment is ideally placed for visiting the Loire Valley châteaux. If the set menu is available, go for it: it's a lovely meal in an intimate, cozy setting. We had a wonderful stay.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here and had a joyful, peaceful time. Catherine looked after us so well, and the cooking was refined. Breakfast was a real treat, especially if you have a sweet tooth like me. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with period decor that made them feel like being in a castle. My wife, a friend, and I spent a few days at L'Eau Vive, and really enjoyed it. Mer is not far from Blois.
