Moulin Béchereau

We spent more than a month here as a family, and this old mill made a fantastic base. The gîte is spacious and well cared for, with secure parking inside the enclosed courtyard. Its peaceful grounds include a big shaded garden and a small stream, while shops are easy to reach on foot or by bike. The owners have added thoughtful touches that make you feel welcome, and their adorable dog is part of the charm. It's a must-visit near Chambord and the Loire à Vélo route.

The cottage was clean, quiet, and well equipped, and the hosts were wonderful and welcoming. Best of all, a river runs through the peaceful property. You can sit by it, listen to the water, and read a book. I highly recommend the place.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, with local and even homemade products, and there was plenty of parking. The welcome was warm and friendly. My guest room and bathroom were spacious, in excellent condition, and tastefully decorated; the bedding was perfect, and the location very quiet. I also got to see the gîte. Its rooms were similarly spacious and pleasantly furnished and decorated, with all the necessary appliances in excellent shape. I highly recommend this place.
