Breakfast was lovely, with fresh produce and cheeses, and the family hosting us made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in Georges's room, with two beautiful, clean bedrooms and a private living room. The estate itself is beautiful, and it’s well placed for visiting castles and towns.

We loved the homemade breakfast, especially the jams, and the hosts were wonderful. Le Clos Sainte-Marie is an amazing place. We’d definitely recommend it!

The village is a little out of the way, and there aren’t any dining options there. Still, the location is great for us, the rooms look amazing, and the hosts were so nice and accommodating.

It’s in a very quiet village, with a central spot for visiting the chateaux in the area. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, and we could also use the sitting rooms in the house. The hosts were very kind and served a delicious breakfast in the cute dining room.

The hosts were really helpful and speak good English. They leave a folder in the room with restaurant listings, including some nice places nearby and two Michelin-starred ones. The rooms are large and very well equipped, and the place is stunning, perfectly located for visiting the chateaux along the Loire. I highly recommend it and would stay again next time I’m in the Loire.
