The pool was a big hit with my teenager after several hot days, and the rooms were neat, modern, and well equipped. We stayed for two nights, and even though we were the only English-speaking guests besides our hostess, we felt right at home. The hosts and other guests were lovely, and the place is ideally placed for exploring the Périgord Noir. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, and dinner was beautifully cooked with local ingredients. I’m not sure we’ll get back to this region, but if we do, we’d stay here again.

We stopped here on the way to the Western Channel and it worked perfectly. There’s lots of parking, a warm welcome, and a heated pool even in late October. The place is beautiful, and the home-cooked food was excellent.

A lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and hosts who made us feel very welcome. The setting is wonderfully peaceful too.

We walked all the way here, and they couldn’t fit two of us in for a meal. Total rubbish!
