Hôtel Maât Etoile

One thing to keep in mind if you're carrying a lot is that there's no elevator, so you might regret traveling heavy. We were really pleased with the hotel: the rooms were cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and the views felt very Parisian. It's close to Metro stations and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes to choose from. The staff were so friendly and kind. We definitely recommend it.

The room looked out over the market, but stayed quiet, and it was clean and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was good too. Cafes and restaurants were on the same street, a department store with a great food hall was around the corner, and the Metro was very close. The fantastic location and especially the friendly, helpful staff are what set this lovely place apart. I can't recommend it enough. I'd really like to thank the staff, and we'll almost certainly be back soon.

A good budget option with friendly reception staff available 24/7, old-fashioned keys for the rooms, and a 10-minute walk to Arc de Triomphe. The beds were fairly firm but nice, and the room was serviced every day. It was decently cool in there too. They said there was Netflix in every room, but I couldn't get the TV to connect to Wi-Fi. I only used the room for sleeping, so it wasn't a big deal. The personal bathroom had a finicky shower control. When turned all the way up, the water pressure was too strong for the bracket, and water could spray everywhere. There was also an old-fashioned bidet, which I thought was funny, though I never used it. I'd definitely recommend the hotel if you're on a budget.

The rooms are ideal for a short stay, and the location is perfect. But the breakfast was terrible for the price, and there’s no elevator. We also had to hand in our room key whenever we left. When we came back, nobody asked for ID or anything, so apparently anyone could ask for the key.
