The terrace looking out over the bridge and river is fantastic, and the river is close enough for swimming. That setting is a big part of the appeal, even though it brought a few mosquitoes, which weren't too bothersome. The food was delicious, the hosts were lovely, and their tips for sightseeing and activities were great. We had a wonderful family week in this beautiful place.

We loved the guesthouse dinners and the good conversation, which more than made up for not going to a restaurant. Umberto and Nicole's suggestions helped us see some of the area's most beautiful villages during our two days there. The welcoming accommodation is in a typical house right by the upper Ardèche River. We tried the natural pool just outside, but in October it was too chilly for us to swim. We'd stay longer if we came back.

This year Nicole and Umberto spoiled us again. They make you feel so welcome, and the meal was magnificent. Even our hungry teenager was well looked after, with Nicole refilling his plate until he was full. They really know how to make guests feel at home. We had a wonderful few days here, with beautiful rooms, fantastic food, and a lovely location.

The setting was so relaxing, between the beautiful building and the river below, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Our hosts were warm and attentive, the food was excellent, and breakfast made with local products was delicious. We had a wonderful stay in every way. Thank you for such a fantastic time!

Swimming in the natural pool was such a lovely experience, and the surrounding area is wonderful. Umberto and Nicole gave us great tips for beautiful walks. We were warmly welcomed at Maison sous le pont, and the tasty table d'hôtes dinners each evening are highly recommended.
