The lady who looked after us was friendly and kind, and the prices felt fair for what we got. We had a sensational French meal: a salad, baked duck with potatoes, and some other lovely dishes. Dessert was crème brûlée with a 'verven sauce' that tasted great and made you feel relaxed, then we finished with a fantastic verven tea.

We had a fantastic evening at a very reasonable price. The four-course chef menu featured local food, with pretty, tasty dishes served enthusiastically and with knowledge. Most of the vegetables came from their own garden. The chairs could be a little more comfortable, and a few more vegetarian choices would be nice, but we'll definitely come back.

Allez-y rapidement!!! I've never had a better blueberry tart. The homemade pâté used local chestnuts and mushrooms, and we also enjoyed lamb and beef with celery root purée. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the meal.

Sitting in the shade of the kiwi tree, we had a delicious meal made entirely in-house. The chef took time to talk through the cooking methods and explain how the flavors worked together. I especially loved the garden lemon and fennel. The strawberry Melba for dessert was divine, and the price was very reasonable. Thank you.
