Logis Hotel Restaurant Mont Aigoual

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool and garden had plenty of furniture and shady spots. We had a comfortable room on the third floor looking over them, and it was generally very pleasant. In the hot weather, though, I would have expected air conditioning at this price. The Wi-Fi was fast but stopped working once. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed it, although it was a little pricier than at the other hotels on our trip. We ordered à la carte, but I saw other reviews saying the half-board deal is very good.

What made our visit memorable was how attentive the hotel staff were. They went out of their way to make things enjoyable, including working to change our room assignments, ordering pasta for dinner, and bringing aperitifs out to the garden. We stayed on a half-board plan, with a generous breakfast and delicious dinner. After hot days of cycling, the pool and garden were a welcome break. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were excellent, and there was a garage where we could keep our bicycles out of the weather. We loved this small hotel and look forward to coming back to Hotel le Mont Aigoual.

There are lots of good restaurants just a short walk away. I didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't say anything about the food there. We got a great welcome from the manager, and all the staff were helpful. Our motorcycles had secure garage parking about a five-minute walk away. The hotel sits at the top of town and has a lovely pool and sun lounge area. Our rooms had no air conditioning, so they were a bit warm at night during the current heatwave.

We came as a group of 19 and had a great time, with nothing to fault. The food was good, the pool was lovely after a day of cycling, and the service was impeccable. Madame Stella and her team made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely come back.
