Lodge-Hôtel & Spa les Voiles du Grand Large

There was no heating in the lodges during the middle of winter, when it was -5 degrees Celsius. I got sick for a month, and it affected my work. I've also been waiting a month for the refund they promised, and it still hasn't come. Management knows about the problem, yet it feels like another place where the owners want to make money without investing properly or providing the service customers are entitled to. The service was deplorable. Legal proceedings are underway. I strongly advise people not to go there, they're simply scammers!

We left quickly the day after our first night, which was the worst night of our lives. Although we arrived at 5:30 PM and were immediately charged for all three booked nights, nobody was there to guide us in the dark. The ground was uneven, the pavement had potholes, the terraces were slippery and full of holes, and the stairs inside were slippery too. Inside, we found a broken toilet and trash can, faulty lights, a filthy floor with burn marks, holes in the linoleum, and cups with flies in them, among other things. We still haven't been able to contact management about a refund. Stay as far away as possible.

We were 10 cyclists riding the Via Rhona route, staying in two chalets. They were spacious and adequate for us, but some parts of the site seemed short on maintenance and cleanliness.
