Hotel du Domaine Saint Loup

The breakfast was generous, and everything we tried was high quality. We could help ourselves to fruit, cookies, tea, or coffee at any time, day or night, at no charge. That gave the place a homely feel. There are also delicious cooked meals in jars at very reasonable prices if you want dinner at the Domaine. Our room was modern, quiet, and spotless, with really comfortable bedding. We slept like babies. On arrival, Marcus, the front desk manager, greeted us. He speaks English, Gerrman and French fluently, and was charming and helpful with all our questions. Nimrod sat with us, eyeing us in a friendly way. We just loved staying at Domaine du Loup. Thank you, it was one of the highlights of our voyage, and we do hope to return in the future!

It was awkward having nowhere to set our luggage in some rooms, which made getting clothes in and out harder. Even in the smaller rooms, a little table would help, perhaps tucked into a corner.

The setting is lovely, with a lake and some forest around the beautiful buildings. We had a spacious family room for four, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was simple but good. A very pleasant hotel with a nice atmosphere.

Quiet, dog friendly, and comfortable beds. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is great, and the staff are friendly. Such a charming place, with beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!
