Hotel Campanile Grenoble Nord - Moirans

The staff were pleasant and a big help, and the view from outside the room was excellent. The restaurant food was decent for the hotel. I stayed one night on 27th Jan 2025, and the room was extremely basic, just 1*. I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone. It feels more like a basic motel than a hotel.

The view is beautiful, and I slept really well. The shower has strong water pressure, and the stay was good overall. Staff were very friendly and helpful 😉. It's handy for a stop near a main road, though you do hear a little motorway noise.

The staff were friendly and tried to help, but the price for both the meal and room felt too high for what we got. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, and the air-conditioning was so loud we couldn't sleep. The bed was cramped and uncomfortable too. We were worn out from travelling on busy roads, so we stayed. If we'd had more energy, we would have left.

The building was a two-storey block with wooden cladding, and the rooms were small but okay. This was a 2-star Campanile. The aircon was too loud to leave on overnight, even with daytime temperatures of 34°C, so I slept poorly. The restaurant's evening meal wasn't great. Breakfast was an okay buffet, with continental items, cereal, cold meats, and cheese. I wouldn't stay here again.
