The hotel seemed to have been converted from a Kyriad, which looked fine at first. Our stay had serious drawbacks: poor service, noise, and concerns about safety and cleanliness. On Friday and Saturday nights, drug dealers and a prostitute were using the car park. Parking was also inadequate on busy nights, and the grounds looked neglected. Rooms at the back face the restaurant kitchens, so food smells drift in.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was a really pleasant part of the stay 👍🏼😉. The hotel itself is pretty basic in quality.

We were satisfied with what we got for the price. Getting to the hotel was easy, and finding a room for four in France is unusual. Ours had a double bed downstairs and two singles in the loft area. The room and bathroom were tidy, and the air conditioning worked, though it was noisy. The shower and small tub were a tight fit for my 6'3'' son, as they often are for him. WiFi had been advertised but wasn't provided, though we didn't need it for this overnight stop on a long drive. On Saturday morning, a lawnmower started on the grounds at 7:30. It wasn't a major problem since we planned to leave early anyway.

The room was really small, and apart from the sheets it wasn't very clean. The location is convenient, though. We got a warm welcome at reception, and breakfast was great.

For the price, the rooms were fairly roomy and clean, just what we expected. The online check-in was a bit of a problem because the email with the room code came late. Breakfast was simple: a few kinds of bread, plain and chocolate croissants, coffee, tea, and juice.
