The staff were friendly, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The room was clean, everything worked, and there was no hair in the sheets. I also liked the new bed’s thin, firm mattress. But the room smelled strongly of smoke, and opening the window didn’t clear it. The old bathroom, fixtures, unpainted trim, and windows made the place look dirty, even though it was clean. The partial renovation felt like putting lipstick on a pig, and the hotel needs a full rehab. We only needed somewhere to sleep for one night, and at 40 € it suited our budget for stopping before continuing the journey. That price felt right for one night, but no more. Google lists it as a 2 star hotel, though it shows as 1 star. Adding automatic air fresheners would already make a future stay more comfortable.

I was unhappy with the hotel. The room was really dirty, with lots of hair on the bed, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The only good things were that I got a room spontaneously and there was Wifi.

With Covid-19 going on, the cleanliness was especially disappointing. I had antibacterial wipes with me and left the place cleaner than it was when I arrived. It was dirty.

The bath had rubbish and dust all over it, and the beds were uncomfortable. It was disgusting, nothing good about the place. Just don’t go there.

For three days there was no room service. I didn’t get clean towels or fresh sheets.
