The location is right in the town centre, but I felt ripped off. We had no hot water for five days. Each time, we were told it would be fixed, but it wasn't. The walls were stained, the toilet was disgustingly marked, and the broken door didn't feel secure. The WiFi didn't work in the rooms, and even the toilet seat wasn't fully bolted on. This place needs a total renovation. I've stayed in hostels nicer than this. TERRIBLE.

Our room was clean and cosy, and the view from our widows is in the attached picture. The location is ideal for skiing, and the staff were very friendly. Hotel La Meije is a comfortable, convenient option for budget-conscious travellers, with good value for the price despite not being luxurious. Breakfast was the classic spread: pancakes, baguette, croissants 🥐, ham and cheese 🧀, coffee and tea. My only small gripe was that there wasn't proper coffee, but I easily bought one nearby. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We've been back four times, and now it feels like home. We love the place, the staff, the food, the wine and beer. I can't find the right words for the hospitality. Thank you, and keep it up. See you next year! The rooms are cosy and have everything you need, and the chef is amazing. Dinner at the hotel is a very good deal. The location is excellent too: the main cable car is 200 m away, and easy to reach. After breakfast, you can get to the summit in 40 minutes.

I booked this for a week of skiing and snowboarding with my son because it was the cheapest place I could find. The rooms are basic, but warm and clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Yes, I'd stay here again.

The only real plus is that it's close to the lifts, which wasn't enough to make this a pleasant stay. The workers were incredibly rude. There were bugs in the beds, the food was awful, and one of our friends got food poisoning. Rooms were tiny and noisy, and you could hear everything from other rooms. No sleep and no hot water, so be ready to sleep dirty. Find somewhere else.
