Hotel Les Rocailles

Jules and Marie made us feel so welcome, and they couldn't have done more for us. This family run hotel is lovely, and we'd be happy to return someday. ❤️

The room felt a little odd, especially the bathroom, which has a window looking into the bedroom. Still, it's a nice, very quiet place to stay with an easy connection from the main routes. The staff are very friendly and speak good English, which you don't come across so often in France.

The owners clearly care about their guests, and it shows in the friendly service. The warm, comfortable room had a very comfortable bed, and the prix fixe meal was lovely. It's a handy stop off the main road on the way to Nîmes or elsewhere. There's a beautiful farm next door, and you can see the sea.

For a hotel of its star rating, it does the job. It's charming and comfortable, and basically the only proper hotel in the area. Food options are limited but acceptable, and the man and woman there made things easier by offering vegetarian alternatives. The two-bed room was uncomfortable, with a broken shower and a clogged washbasin. Breakfast was included, though quite limited, with good croissants and pain au chocolat. Coffee was only available from a machine. For a quieter stay, I'd suggest an upper-floor room facing the pool, away from the restaurant and travaux.
