We could unwind at the bar and restaurant before our long drive the next day, and the EV charging was a useful extra. The staff were friendly and breakfast was plentiful. We’d definitely stay again, especially with the location working so well for us.

There’s ample parking, and the reception and bar area is pleasant, with helpful, friendly staff. Our room was clean and nicely presented, just right for a stop on the way to Italy. It’s only a few minutes from the highway. The hotel is simple but very practical. Breakfast is available, though we didn’t have it.

Breakfast had a good variety of fresh, tasty things, and I particularly liked the freshly squeezed orange juice. I dropped a plate by accident, but the team cleared it up right away and handled it kindly and professionally. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the relaxed atmosphere made it easy to travel with kids. Our short stay at the Greet Hotel Bourg-en-Bresse Sud Montagnat was peaceful and welcoming, and good value for the money. The rooms were clean and quiet, with what we needed for a comfortable night, and they were well suited to travelers passing through. It’s a child-friendly place, and we’d recommend it as a stopover.

Dinner was very good, and the staff were helpful. I asked to leave one of the pizza toppings off the menu version, and they offered an alternative topping. Breakfast had a decent variety but was underwhelming. The room was basic and met our needs apart from the pillows. There was just one each, and they were so thin and soft that I had a sleepless night. At first we were confused because check-in is done at the restaurant. The pleasant reception staff offered to wait for payment until after dinner and put it all on one bill.
