The seminar room was quiet, well equipped, and just right for work, study, or meetings. The spa and restaurant were spotless, and the meals were delicious and high quality. We were welcomed warmly by an attentive, professional team. Many thanks to Jacques and his team. We wholeheartedly recommend the establishment for its service and professionalism.

On my first visit in March, I came just for the spa. It’s a beautiful place, kept impeccably clean, with a sleek layout and an incredible setting. The €25 price for two hours already felt like great value, and they kindly gave us a discount because the sensory shower was out of order that day. The mud bath was fantastic, the heated chairs relaxing, and there was unlimited rooibos tea. The hammam was superb, and the pool jets were lovely. I left feeling completely refreshed. I came back this Thursday, April 23rd, to try the bistro as well as the spa. The welcome was just as warm, and we even got an extra 15 minutes in the spa. The waiter was exceptionally kind, attentive, helpful, and caring. The food was excellent and generous: chicken stew and truffle pasta. Everything was just right, from the crusty bread to the coffee. The sensory shower was working this time and felt lovely. The mud bath is still a must-try, the hammam is quite powerful, and the jet pool just as enjoyable as before. We also tried the original, soothing meditation space among the tree trunks. We skipped the sauna, though it looked very good. At €30 for two hours, the variety of facilities and quality make it more than worthwhile. It’s a wonderful, rejuvenating break in a magnificent setting. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again to the incredibly kind waiter 🚵♀️🙏

With the woods all around and hardly a sound, this was a lovely place to unwind and recharge. We spent two hours at the spa, trying the hammam, sauna, mud cabin, experience shower, indoor forest, and sensory pool. Everything was clean, calm, and meticulously maintained. The woodland setting made it feel even more peaceful. A really relaxing couple’s outing, and one we’d happily recommend to anyone who enjoys spas and downtime.

What makes the spa feel so intimate is the limited entry every 15 minutes. At times there were only four people spread across the different areas. The setting is magical, and the facilities are excellent: a hammam, jacuzzi, sauna, walk-in shower, mud cabin, heated loungers overlooking the outdoors, and a meditation nook where you can sit in two enormous tree trunks. There’s also a pool, modest in size but with a view over the wooded grounds. Afterward, the bistro across the street is a nice way to round off the relaxing, zen-like visit with something to eat or drink. I recommend it 200%! 🤩🤩🤩

The little extras made our visit feel especially thoughtful: filtered water, complimentary tea, and the chance to carry on at the bistro with simple, local dishes at very affordable prices. The bistro’s setting even brought an Italian piazza to mind. L’Orée du Bois is a unique find in Tarn-et-Garonne, spacious but still cozy, and well worth a visit. We spent two hours in an elegant, soothing place where every detail seemed considered. The hammam, sauna, sensory showers, mud cabin, jet pool, and relaxation room with heated seats all invited us to switch off. Tasteful decor, quiet, and a hushed atmosphere made the experience feel immersive. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend.
