Such a shame, because the location looked lovely from what we could see. We parked on arrival and four dogs of different sizes came to greet us. Watch out for the smallest one, it bites. I went over to the yard by reception. The door was ajar, but I didn't think it was right to just walk in, so I knocked and called out for 20 minutes. No one answered. Even the dogs got tired of waiting and fell asleep, so I went back to the car and drove off. What a disappointment.

Dinner came with a delicious surprise: the best duck confit I've ever had, and breakfast was perfect too. We had a wonderful stay with Annemie and Nick and their guests. Their home and its surroundings are serene and charming, and they were delightful, gracious, welcoming hosts. A lovely temporary home for enjoying the area :-)

The setting was serene, the room clean, the bed comfortable, and the food excellent. Annemie was such a practiced host that I wouldn't have guessed La Nouvelle vie en Quercy was under new management. The hosts were charming and attentive without ever intruding. I'd recommend it 100%.

Welcoming hosts and modern, comfortable rooms in a lovely little gitte. I hope to stay here again soon.

The breakfasts were so generous we couldn't finish everything! Marcel and Jolanda welcomed us warmly with a little gift, and stayed cheerful, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. This charming country B&B really is a peaceful haven. Thanks again for such a lovely stay. We'd be happy to return.
