We were lucky to have Martine's table d'hôte dinner, which was a delight: incredibly good food with a strong focus on regional products. The host family were very welcoming, kind, and easygoing. The historical setting had a wonderful atmosphere, with clean, neatly arranged rooms and tasteful decor that felt just right. The patio, covered in plants and artwork, is a little oasis. Simply perfect!

Two nights wasn’t nearly enough to enjoy the castle and explore the area, so we’re coming back next year for a week. Staying in a castle was an experience in itself, and this was easily the best part of our trip. I loved the mix of old and modern, including the modern bathrooms and very comfortable bed. The complimentary gourmet breakfast was incredible, with local cheeses, yogurts, cold cuts, bread, and fruit. The setup and attention to detail felt like a five-star hotel. The owner runs the charming place herself and treated us like personal guests. She booked dinner for us and suggested places we wouldn’t have found on our own.

It wasn't what we're used to, but we liked it a lot. The staff were kind and helpful, and there are lots of places just a few minutes away. The whirlpool was refreshing, and the people I got to talk with were friendly.

We got off to a rough start, and the owner apologized the next day. We all make mistakes, and forgiveness matters. The place found its way into my heart. There’s a loving energy throughout the house and grounds, in how they care for guests, the property, and our planet. I only wish we’d had longer to stay. Highly recommended. Take care of one another and the planet ❤️🙏
