Finding the place is easier with a GPS, but once there it’s wonderfully peaceful. It’s a beautiful former hunting lodge of the Counts of Uzès, with a room so lovely you almost feel you might disturb the guests. The decor is plentiful but very tasteful. Breakfast in the courtyard, enclosed by high stone walls, was excellent. The owner was keen to show off his skills and knowledge.
