I went out of my way to reach this little culinary gem, and I'm glad I did. Every dish was glorious, with prompt, confident, friendly service. They put up with my French without making a fuss about it. For food of this quality, the price was modest, and it lived up to its billing.

The bill was extremely modest, and the wine list was reasonably priced. We enjoyed the excellent food, attentive service, and well-spaced tables. There was a large cheese tray, though we didn't try it, plus an old-fashioned grand dessert trolley. The coffee was especially good. If only the French would curb their fascination with popcorn, marshmallows and ketchup...

The meal and its presentation were spectacular, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and respectful. For a couple, it came to 120 Euros including wine. I visited this Michelin one-star restaurant during a bicycle tour a few weeks ago with high expectations, and they were clearly surpassed. Merveilleux, fantastatique, incroyable!

We came during French gastronomy month. The food was good, the place cozy, and the service very good!

Such lovely staff and excellent food, plus a great bedroom. A shame we only stayed one night.
