The host spoke English, and the house was lovely with a great view.

We had two lovely hikes nearby that took us through the surrounding villages, and Calvi was only a 20-minute drive away. The villa had everything we needed, with a private pool and complete privacy. It was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The owners were charming and knew the island really well.

I hope to come back as soon as I can. The owners and staff were so kind, and the villas were superbly equipped. The location is great, with Montemaggiore just 2 minutes away, Zilia 10, and Montegrosso right across the street. It’s a nice village, too.

We got a warm welcome from the owners. The villas are superb and fully equipped, with private pools and views of the mountains. The setting in the Ballagne mountains is lovely, and Calvi isn’t far away.

The managers were friendly and made us feel welcome, and we had a fantastic week. It’s a magnificent spot if you’re after peace and quiet, about 15 minutes by car from Calvi. The only small drawback was that there was no air conditioning.
