The hosts greeted us with smiles and always seemed to have a little joke ready. We had a relaxing, magical stay in the peaceful Saumur countryside, in a beautiful, charming home with exposed stone walls. The bright living room has impressive high ceilings, and there’s a small, practical kitchen guests can use freely. There’s also a lounge with children’s games. Our room had simple, refined decor and its own shower room and bathroom, which was a real plus. Outside, the wooded, flower-filled garden is lovely for a stroll. The superb pool was a hit with the whole family, with loungers for sunbathing. We could also eat by the pool, with a kitchen and barbecue available. Thanks for such a lovely getaway. See you soon.

We loved the peaceful, idyllic setting and all the room around the house. Inside, the huge living room has an impressive high ceiling, and in summer the pool is perfect for the whole family. Our host Philippe welcomed us wonderfully and could recommend things to do and places to visit around the Saumur region.

A superb cottage for a weekend with family or friends. It’s very well equipped, and the summer kitchen, "La Paillotte," beside the pool is a lovely spot.

We had a fantastic weekend with friends. The rooms were very spacious, the countryside setting was ideal, and there was a lovely pool. Breakfast was very generous, and the host was attentive and accommodating. We’ll be back!

A great spot to unwind between castle visits, with a chivalrous setting and a really pleasant pool.
