Roma and Jordan made the day for us. They showed our kids how to handle a sword, use an archbow, and write their names in calligraphy, which made the trip feel worth it. The castle itself is lovely, though it can be hard to follow if you don't understand French. Try to visit on a Sunday or Wednesday when Roma and Jordan are there ❤️

The staff were helpful, and the wooden games behind the stables are worth trying. The castle has been beautifully renovated, with well-designed interactive displays that guide you through the medieval history of the French and British monarchs in this region. A good visit while you're in the area.

The children loved dressing up and trying the traditional games, and we happened to be there on a day when they demonstrated the trebuchet. There was plenty to do and lots of interactive exhibits, more than we expected from the Chateau. It was hot outside but cool indoors. There aren't any picnic benches, though there is some shady grass. A good day out.

The interactive rooms were a lot of fun. We all enjoyed the experience as a family.

A château with a different approach, and they pulled it off really well. Great experience.
