Viefacile Holiday Gite

The location worked brilliantly for the D-Day beaches, shops, and restaurants. Outside, there’s a heated pool, BBQ and tables for eating outdoors, plus a games room and other facilities, so it suited everyone from 6 to 64. Inside felt like home, with three comfortable bedrooms, two spacious lounges with a TV in each, and a very well equipped kitchen. From booking right through to leaving, Joanne and Sharon were excellent hosts. They know their stuff and were always happy to help with anything we needed.

The studio was excellent and professional. I recorded 4 demo tracks there, and Joanne’s production skills helped me get the sound and ambience I was after. We stayed in June 2015 for a family holiday, and the gite worked perfectly for that too. My wife and I had our own space upstairs, while our daughter and her family had privacy downstairs. It’s well equipped, and the pool, toy store, and games room kept everyone occupied. A perfect base for touring, highly recommended.

The market in the nearby town is lovely, and the beaches are not far away. We stayed for a week to explore the WW2 history, and the location made it easy to get around Normandy. The gite was lovely, homely, and comfortable. The pool was a plus for days when we just wanted to relax.

Sharon and Joanne are friendly owners who make sure your stay is enjoyable and trouble free. The gite is lovely, well maintained, and stocked with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
