MGM Hôtels & Résidences – Hôtel Alpen Lodge

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the bar made delicious cocktails. Rooms were modern, with comfortable beds and breathtaking views. The spa was large and clean, and the ventilated ski lockers were handy. Everything was perfect, especially the location near the bottom of the lifts. I'd definitely stay again.

The wellness area is lovely, though I wish the pool and jacuzzi water were about 2 degrees warmer. The morning bakery items were tasty and fairly priced. Staff were helpful, well trained, and spoke fluent English. The residence itself feels brand new, with thoughtful, beautiful architecture, high quality throughout, and spotless cleanliness. Really wonderful, I'd highly recommend it.

The room was clean, the decor and atmosphere were lovely, and the staff were nice. It's a ski room, and the property welcomes dogs. But breakfast was one of the worst I've had, especially for 20 euros. To me it was worth 7-9 euros at most. I usually eat breakfast at hotels, but on the second day I chose to go hungry and head to the slopes. They should either improve it or lower the price.

The rooms were clean, the location was nice, and the pool and spa facilities were good. Breakfast felt expensive for the limited selection, though maybe that was because so few guests were having it. We visited in summer, so things may be different in other seasons. La Rosiere is pretty quiet then, since it's a winter sports village, and many shops only open during winter.
