Chalet La Bise

The AliKats team are always on hand if anything comes up, and they know the town and surrounding area well if you want to explore further. I’m already looking forward to returning to Chalet La Bise, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for a luxurious holiday. The chalet has a heated boot rack and a local shuttle stops at the end of the driveway, so it’s easy to get to the ski lifts without carrying skis far. Every bedroom is en suite, with comfortable beds and excellent linen. It works well all year round for time with family or friends. I’ve visited Morzine several times, and for the past two years Chalet La Bise has been our choice. It’s central and just a short walk from the shops, bars, and restaurants, yet it gives us the peace and quiet we want on holiday. After a dip in the hot tub or a spell in the luxurious sauna, the modern log fire is lovely on a cold evening. There are games and books, plus Netflix. The open plan first floor is bright and airy, with full sized windows on every side and majestic mountain views. The chalet is contemporary, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with everything we need for a self catering holiday. The coffee machine is a brilliant extra, no waiting for the kettle!

A great spot for a summer holiday, with large rooms, a beautiful kitchen and plenty of games. The kids enjoyed the soccer table, and there’s a sauna and jacuzzi too. It’s within walking distance of the center and shops. We could bike to a Swift each morning for fresh croissants and fruit juice.

The covered parking meant we could leave the cars safely while taking the nearby shuttle to the ski lifts. We celebrated New Year’s Eve around the big table with raclette and a stone grill, and the large kitchen island was a lovely place to cook and share aperitifs. We were three generations, with six grandchildren, and the accommodation suited our large group very well. Each bedroom has a spacious bathroom, and the foosball table in the playroom was a big hit with the youngest ones. We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays.

I’ve been back several times and love returning. The chalet is beautiful, with lovely decor, a large kitchen and living area, and a bathroom for every room. The sauna and jacuzzi are a great extra, and with two terraces there’s always somewhere in the sun. A wonderful place to stay!
