Nik and Zoe were excellent and always available when we needed help. They even brought us extra UK adapters after some of our group forgot theirs, and when a shower blocked on Christmas Eve, someone came to fix it within an hour, which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful snowy Christmas at Chalet Lumina over Christmas 2025. The views across Morzine and the surrounding mountains are stunning and uninterrupted. The chalet was clean, tidy, well equipped, and spacious. Even with nine of us, including children, it never felt cramped. Getting to and from town and the ski lifts was the one challenge. We hadn’t booked private transfers, and the chalet is in a semi-rural setting where most people seemed to drive themselves or use transfers. The bus service to that part of town was infrequent during the day, sometimes buses didn’t stop or didn’t turn up, and service ended after 6.30pm. Taxis weren’t readily available around Morzine, so on some days we had to walk up and down the hill with our ski equipment. This isn’t a reflection on AliKats, but we’d have liked to know in a review, as we would have booked more meals and transfers if we’d realised. We all had an amazing time, and would use and recommend AliKats again.

We stayed for a week with friends and were really pleased with the experience. The rooms are bright and nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you might need. There’s also plenty of fun stuff for kids. The team were especially nice and helpful with all our requests. We’d recommend it!

It was our first time in Morzine, and we weren’t sure where to book, but Alikats and Petit Lumina went beyond what I expected. My son and I stayed there in June for a mountain biking holiday. The location is stunning, just a short stroll into town and then you’re at the lifts. We were met on arrival and shown around, and it was reassuring to know someone was only a phone call away if we needed anything. I can’t wait to book again for next year.

We stayed at AliKats’ Chalet Petit Lumina this year after spending the previous year in Chalet Lumina, and both were better than we’d expected. The spacious living areas have breathtaking mountain views, and the large windows fill the rooms with natural light. We love that the chalets are dog friendly, so we could bring our dog along. The AliKats team were wonderful hosts again. From booking to the warm goodbye, every interaction felt friendly, efficient, and personal. Looking forward to next year. Thank you 😊

A fantastic base for a mountain biking stay, with spacious rooms, each with an en suite. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, and there’s a separate wine fridge if you need it. It’s just above the main bridge, making for an easy roll down to the gondola in the mornings.
