We’d picked a bad Air BnB for our short stay in Morzine, so we were very relieved this hotel had space for us. The welcome was warm. A helpful, polite man at reception explained what to expect and where to eat, then showed us to the Pleney room, which looked up toward Pleney. The room was just right, and after settling in we went to the hotel’s sauna and pool to relax after skiing. Sitting in the sauna pod and watching the last skiers finish their runs on Pleney was just perfect. We were travelling without our children, but it’s clearly a great place for families. The ground floor has a huge children’s playroom with lots of activities, so parents can enjoy a glass of wine and get ready for the next day. This would be our first choice next time we’re in Morzine, and we’ll bring the kids. ❤️

Christmas here was amazing, with a brilliant, family-friendly atmosphere. Nat, the hotel’s ski instructor, was superb. Our son learned to ski in four days and managed an easy blue run on his own. Thanks so much, Caroline and Eric. Highly recommended!

We’ve just come back from our second stay at Hotel La Bergerie, and would happily recommend it. Eric and Caroline were warm, helpful hosts, and the relaxed, friendly family feel made the stay lovely. Our family of four had a perfect room with a little kitchenette and a beautiful balcony. The kids loved the playroom and pool. The location makes everything easy: a discounted ski rental shop is next door, the Pleney lift is very close, and transport to Super Morzine / Avoriaz is nearby. It’s right in central Morzine, so restaurants and shops are only moments away on foot. The children are already asking us to book again.

Service is what puts this place among the best hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere. Not many places in the world take this much care of their guests. Don’t look elsewhere, it’s the best hotel in Morzine.

On our first stay, the team made us feel at home from check-in through breakfast and into the evening. My family and I want to thank Eric, Caroline, and the team for such an unforgettable visit. The location in the heart of Morzine meant we could get everywhere without a car. Our family room was spacious, with a separate area for the parents, a small kitchen, and a wonderful balcony view. There’s a large outdoor area with a pool and kids’ space too.
