Hôtel le Concorde

The pool was absolutely class, and the whole team made us feel spoiled with our two young kids. The meals were amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. A wonderful family hotel, and a must-stay in Morzine.

The location is the one good thing for me. The rooms are tiny, and the toilet is even smaller, old and very inconvenient. The place needs a lot of renovation; it feels very old and poorly maintained, with many things neglected. It wasn’t clean overall, especially in the corridors, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Back for our second stay, and the hotel still has such a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and the location is great. The staff are so nice. Thanks, Gaelle and Mathieu. See you again soon.

The room was a highlight. My Superior Double Room was lovely, with a great view over the valley towards the 'Super Morzine' side. It had the essentials, a comfortable double bed, good-sized wardrobe and shelves, bedside table, and, to my delight, a large bath. The hotel is only a few hundred metres from the town centre, which is handy. After five previous Morzine stays split between private and catered chalets, this was my first hotel stay here. The breakfast menu is modest, but I thought it was very nice and consistent each morning. I’ve been here a few days and used the small pool twice. It’s fine for a paddle or a soak, though the water felt really cold to me, often colder than outside. The balcony sliding doors were stuck or very difficult to move. There are a few things that could be better in the room. The toilet room is rather small, and the radiators on either side seem badly placed, making it feel tighter. I kept catching the thermostat knob, which sticks out about 5 cm. The bathroom has just one light above the mirror, so the bath area is dim. The water also runs hot: the “cold” tap gives warm water, and the hot tap is scalding. It’s a lovely hotel with what you need, but there’s room to improve. I’d happily stay again if I come back to Morzine next year 🤞
