The warmth of the welcome more than makes up for the hotel’s lack of sophistication. It’s a simple, family-run place with great value, in a handy spot. Walk a short way to the free U line shuttle stop, then it’s about ten minutes to the Super Morzine lift and town centre. There’s a boot and ski room, though no boot heaters. Dinner is four courses, so pace yourself before the fabulous cheese board, which is course three. I’ve stayed here in each of the last two years and will definitely be back.

The food was divine, and our hostess was kind and attentive. This is a clean, well cared for two-star hotel, just two minutes from the ski bus, although the town centre is a 35-minute walk. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes comfortable, unpretentious hotels.

For low-cost accommodation, this place is hard to beat. The rooms are basic but have what you need, and the hotel is spotlessly clean with a lovely traditional charm. Vere is the real star. She’s incredibly welcoming, speaks great English and takes such pleasure in feeding everyone her delicious food that you’ll be full to the brim. Thanks for a great week.

The shuttle bus into Morzine town stops right next door, and the price is super affordable. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, and the host and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t recommend it more!
