Domaine de la creuse

Getting around was the only drawback for me. The building is fairly isolated, so you'll need a car to go anywhere, though the nearest village and its restaurant are only a short drive away. Our room was charming, with a big entrance, a sitting room and small TV, a separate WC, and a spacious bathroom with double washbasins. It was a little cold when we arrived, but the electric heater sorted that out. Breakfast was served in a small room in the main house at a nicely set table, with all the usual things. The croissants were especially delicious. It was a pleasant stay, we felt welcome, and our little dog got treats too.

We were on our way home and stayed just one night. The room was really nice, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good too, and our host made us feel welcome. It's a beautiful spot just below Troyes. We'd recommend staying here.

The setting is lovely, out in the countryside but only five minutes from the motorway. Our rooms were spacious, clean, pretty, and had all the amenities we needed. The fresh breakfast was included and fantastic. The service and welcome were so good that other places nearby, despite charging much more, don't come close. This was such an amazing find, a real gem. The staff gave both us and our dogs a lovely welcome.

Even though we arrived late at night, a polite young man welcomed us and showed us to our room. It was clean and well cared for, nicely furnished, quiet, with good beds, and easy to find. Thanks so much. We'll remember this place next time and recommend it to friends. The horses that used to live there are still honored.
