Le Brame de Sologne

A couple of nice bar-restaurants are nearby, though there's not much to do within walking distance since the hotel is in a residential area. The secure, private parking and frontage are handy for the neighbours too, I guess. We stopped here while driving through France and found the hotel clean, with great rooms and very friendly staff. It clearly means a lot to the owner. It's about a ten-minute drive to the Chateau de Chambord, which is absolutely worth visiting. The hotel can provide some food, though it's not a restaurant. We had a delicious quiche and salad; some little sauté potatoes on the side would have made it amazing. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel is close to chateau Chambrod, and Blois is a very nice town on the Loire about a 20-minute drive away. There's a charging port in the second parking lot. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there's a nice playground behind the hotel with a pool and table tennis.

The room was larger than expected for a family room and felt much higher standard. With a few more things on the walls, you could mistake it for a five-star hotel. Breakfast was good and fairly priced. The only real drawback was the lobby: it's a nice place to sit, but the lights switch off automatically in the evening, so you can't really use it. The car charging price might be another small gripe, but that's nitpicking. We had a great stay, and the place is top notch for its price. It was a pleasant surprise from the start, with great parking by the entrance and the best reception we got on this trip. I wish I could remember the receptionist's name, because she was excellent and deserves a mention.

I stayed here with a baby and a dog, and everything was well organized to welcome them. The way they treat guests is wonderful: attentive, polite, and kind, better than at many other hotels. I highly recommend it. 10⭐🌟 for everything.
