Colliers felt special because it was someone's family home, not a polished chateau hotel. The same family has lived there since the 17th century, and the rooms still have generations of family portraits and antique furniture. If you want a glimpse of that history instead of a modern hotel in a chateau, you'll appreciate it. Take some time to hear the owner talk about the house and his ancestors. It was a real treat during our cycling tour of the Loire chateaux, especially with Chambord nearby. There are plenty of lovely chateau hotels, but Colliers has a character of its own. I couldn't recommend it more.

The hosts were so kind and helpful, and our stay at chateau de Colliers was wonderful. We slept comfortably, and the shower was warm and pleasant. The venue itself is spectacular, and having breakfast in the main room made us feel like royalty. It's perfectly placed for visiting Chambord castle. Thanks for making our holiday such a lovely one. I'll recommend it to all my friends.

We celebrated my birthday with family and friends here, starting with a small reception in the Château's beautiful salons, then having a party and dinner in the gardens, where they set up a tent and deck. The staff were very nice, and we left with lovely memories. The rooms are comfortable and well kept while retaining their old-fashioned charm. Bathrooms were very functional, and the location worked well for outings or relaxing by the Loire.

Rent a room here if you want to experience what living in a chateau might feel like. The decor is lovely, and breakfast is unforgettable, believe me 😎. It's also a great base for nearby sights. Enjoy!

My wife and I came here years ago on our delayed honeymoon. The property was beautiful, and everyone was so kind. I'm touring alone by bicycle this August 2022 and plan to stay a couple of nights because we remember it so fondly.
