The place felt more like a hostel or dorm than a hotel. Rooms were small and not very clean, the beds uncomfortable, and there was disgusting wallpaper in the shower. Service wasn't very welcoming, and someone left a side door open all the time in October. My room rate went up after I arrived. It's far from the old town, dining, and shopping. The only reason I'd recommend it is its proximity to Musee National d' Automotive Schlumpf Collection.

I booked a single room thinking it would be good, but the heating wasn't great, the room smelled bad, and the sheets were dirty. They hadn't left any towels, and when I asked, I was told they had none left. A horrible experience. One star is more than this place deserves, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The room itself was fine and the staff were polite, but the fire escape doors on every floor were left open onto the stairwells all night. I assume it was for ventilation, but it meant people could get in without going past reception, which felt unsafe. Around 3am I went to the vending machine for water and saw they were still open. The next morning my teenage daughters told us a man had knocked on their door around 3am. They opened it thinking it was us, then shut it right away. I can't tell if he made an honest mistake or had some other intention, but open fire doors didn't help with security. The toilets and showers were very filthy too. I know this is a low frills hotel, but those two issues were concerning.

We left in the middle of the night and booked another hotel to protect our physical and mental health. In summer, the room was already brutally hot, like a hardcore sauna, with no air conditioning and a stifling atmosphere. The decorative window didn't provide ventilation, and the floor was dusty, as if it hadn't seen a mop in ages. The smell of cigarette smoke was strong despite the non-smoking label. Toilets and showers were out in the hallway, so a nighttime trip meant crossing the hall. There was only one pillow for two people, which could start a fight. The horror-show room had the feel of a prison, complete with dust and cobwebs. Highly recommended only if you enjoy heat, grime, and regretting your choices.
