Hotel Deybach

The service was the standout during our weekend at Hotel Deybach. I was cycling with a friend through the stunning Alsace countryside, and the staff were incredibly helpful with logistics, restaurant tips, and a fantastic breakfast. It isn’t a fancy five-star hotel, but the service feels five-star, and the setting makes it a perfect base for a cycling trip. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserved one. Highly recommended!

We slept soundly in a lovely room at Hôtel Deybach, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The next day, we walked a few miles through the beautiful countryside to a nearby town, tasted some wines, and took in a heavenly view. Hôtel Deybach is in a beautiful valley in Alsace, a region with wonderful people and incredible wine. If you visit the area, make a point of staying here for a pleasant, personal, and unforgettable experience. It’s a region everyone should visit at least once.

The hotel is comfortable and less than a kilometer from the center. It’s easy to walk there through the park in about 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly at check-in and during breakfast, and the room, lobby, and breakfast room were all clean. They’ll book a restaurant for you if you ask. We could hear traffic in the morning and evening because the hotel is close to the main road to Colmar. We had a double room with plenty of space for two and for our luggage. The good bed was two beds pushed together. There was a kettle for tea and coffee, a small TV, and a separate toilet, which was a big plus. The bathroom was roomy enough and the shower worked well. There’s no safe and no lift to the rooms. Breakfast is a classic buffet with lots of local products, and you can get tea or coffee. You can also order an egg dish. We stayed two nights, not in a row, and the room on our second visit was an even larger double. There’s a bar serving local drinks, but no dinner. A good choice for a few nights, with enough comfort but not much luxury.

I was there for long walks in the Vosges, and they made delicious lunches for me to take along. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was really good.
