The back massage and facial package was sublime. We paid €150 for the 90-minute treatment, and I’d highly recommend the spa. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities. The room was very clean, modern, and well furnished, with a luxurious bathroom. At the restaurant, the food was excellent and very inexpensive by American standards. There’s also a vegetarian menu, and they were flexible about the courses. Service was good overall, though less attentive than I’d expect at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Parking gets completely full from 6PM-12AM because of restaurant guests.

The spa and wellness area was relaxing and well maintained, a lovely place to unwind after hiking in the Vosges Mountains. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with greenery views. La Verte Vallée sits in a peaceful, scenic spot surrounded by nature, yet Munster's charming center is a short walk away. Staff were welcoming and helpful from arrival. Breakfast had plenty of choice and fresh local products, and we enjoyed refined Alsatian food at dinner in a warm, elegant setting. It made a great base for exploring the region, and we'd gladly return.

Breakfast was good, and we could walk to a nearby restaurant because of the hotel's location. The pool area was great, though I wish the jacuzzi were a little warmer.

Colmar and the other villages are only a 20-30 minute drive away, so it was handy for visiting Alsace's attractions. We stayed three nights in the Suite Apartment, a spacious, beautifully designed place with a separate bedroom and a well-equipped kitchenette. The hotel was decorated for Christmas, and the whole place looked lovely. Breakfast was varied and delicious.

The first room smelled awful, but they found us another one that was okay. The sauna was nice, while the spa's hot pools weren't very hot. We wanted to stay two nights since we arrived at 8 when the spa had already closed. It shuts too early, I guess to save money, and the next day at 11 am they were closing for a month. It was good value, but we won't be back.
