Zenitude Hotel Residence Mutzig les Portes dAlsace

The rooms were a bit worn, but clean, and it was fine for a one-night stop. There isn't much to see outside. Breakfast was okay, at 12,5 euro. For the price, you can’t expect a lot.

The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, the room was large, and the staff were kind. I stayed three nights, though there were several annoyances. The pillowcase had a blood stain, but after 7pm there was nobody around to ask for a replacement. We had only a quarter roll of toilet paper on the first day and ran out the next day. I left the holder open, but it still hadn’t been replaced by day three, despite the hotel promising quick daily cleaning. The door does little to block sound, so everything in the corridor can be heard. The sauna is only open when staff are present, which means you can’t use it when you return in the evening. I also found it odd that guests are expected to wash dishes and take the garbage downstairs.

The late arrival setup worked nicely, and there was lots of free parking. Our room was spacious and had what we needed. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but the bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, and we slept like babies. We skipped breakfast. I’d recommend it as a place to spend the night while traveling.

We only stayed one night, but the clean, spacious room had everything we needed, including a modern kitchenette, and the shower was great. We’ll definitely come back for a longer visit.
