The restaurant and bar on the ground floor are amazing, and the rooms are new, comfortable, and very clean. I was impressed by the sustainability measures to reduce waste and negative carbon emissions. Unlike Marriott, where lounge access is limited to elite members of certain tiers, OKKO lets all guests use the lounge. There is construction going on nearby, but I've encountered construction in major cities I've visited before. In Minneapolis, not long ago, I even had to change rooms early in the morning because water pipes were being maintained on the road outside the hotel. I think it's unfair to fault hotels for outside construction or other things beyond their control when they're working professionally to make guests comfortable.

The weekend area is dead. There isn't one open cafe or restaurant nearby, and even the hotel's ground floor restaurant closes for the weekend. That's the main reason for my 4 stars. The new hotel itself is smart and modern. I liked the cold water dispensers on every floor and the coffee machines at reception. The aperitivo was just a few tiny cake slices put beside the coffee machine. Breakfast was okay, passable.

We came for a rugby match at La Defense Arena, and the location was amazing, right across the street and not far from the train station. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were really friendly. Our room was spacious, tidy, and very comfortable, with a super comfortable bed. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, really cozy. I wish we'd stayed longer. If you need a place in the area, this is a great one.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, safe area. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed the tasty snacks and complimentary coffee, and there was filtered water on every floor.

Getting to the main tourist attractions took about 30-40 minutes by transit, which was fine with us. The train station was nearby, and the hotel and its location felt very safe. The staff greeted us warmly, and we enjoyed the cafe and lounge, with free coffee and tea. The bed was a little flat and uncomfortable, though. Otherwise, we'd stay here again on our next Paris visit.
