We loved the apartment downstairs on the first part of our trip, then stayed in the upstairs one when we came back. Every morning, breakfast arrived in a lovely basket with fresh things from the local bakery, plus homemade yogurt, jam and butter. We were cycling across the Loire Valley from Nantes and left our bike boxes there for a week. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They were amazing, and we’d love to return to Nantes one day to see them again.

I was in Nantes for a work stop and found a peaceful little retreat at Gîte de Bonneville. The woods and the riverside path along the Erdre are only a few steps away. The owners did everything they could to help, and we even had an unexpected musical moment together, a secret they keep to themselves.

We had a short but lovely stay in this cozy cottage. The hosts were helpful, so check-in was easy. Thank you!

Though small, the apartment is very comfortable, with everything thought through. The hosts have great taste and a real sense of how things should work. A model for others to follow. Thanks for being so attentive.

The welcome was warm, and we got plenty of tips for seeing Nantes and its wine region. This is a friendly, well-equipped gîte near both the Erdre River and Nantes' historic center. A great stopover, highly recommended.
