Quick Palace Nantes La Beaujoire

It’s a convenient, simple place for a couple of nights. The front desk isn’t staffed all the time, so be sure to let them know when you’ll arrive. I would have liked access to a fridge during my stay, especially since the nearby mall closes early.

Clean and comfortable enough for a traveller passing through, with an efficient setup and plenty of self-serve breakfast, including COFFEE. Just don’t expect a 3 star experience. The Ai at the entrance wouldn’t let me in without a reservation already made. Once I made one outside, I could get through the door and reach reception.

I’d arranged a special check-in for 22:00 because my flight was due to land at 21:00. I got to the hotel exactly at 22:00, but it was locked, with nobody there, so checking in was impossible. I’m not from France, my phone battery was dead, and I didn’t know who to ask for help or which bus went to the city center. I walked for nearly two hours, then sat at a bus stop and waited for whatever bus came along. In the end, I went to the first hotel I saw near the gare and paid almost €90 for the night. It was an awful night. The next day I called to request a refund, as Booking had asked me to. The manager was rude, yelled at me, called me a liar and hung up. The whole thing was incredibly frustrating. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE, and I really hope Booking can do something about it. Very, very bad service.

I’d booked online for an overnight stop on the way to Spain, but when I arrived at 20.20 the place was locked up. Another guest luckily let me into reception. I called the contact number posted there to find out how to get into my room, but the person on the phone refused to help. I ended up booking at the nearby F1 hotel. DISGUSTED, and I’ll never consider staying here again.
