After 10 PM, reception is closed, and if you accidentally leave your card in the room, you’re charged 70€. Breakfast was another problem. At exactly 10:30, a man started clearing everything away and yelled at my colleague when she tried to get one more coffee at 10:40 as we were leaving: “NORMALLY IT FINISHES AT 10:30! So no you can’t!” I’ve never been treated that way at a hotel breakfast. They could have let us finish calmly while clearing up. On another day, a very nice woman did just that while cleaning and feeding the hotel cat. It’s also hard to understand the rush since the breakfast space isn’t used for the rest of the day. Definitely not four stars.

This was probably the best hotel of our two-month trip. The rooms were beautiful and immaculately clean, and breakfast was delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was just perfect, and I’d love to stay here again on my next trip to France.

The small apartments are quiet and practical, with great beds, and there’s parking on site. The place has a nice view of the historic part of Narbonne. Service and value were great for the price, and the staff were really good. I skipped breakfast, though it looked good, and just had a coffee for 2 €.

Brrr, no heat. It’s turned off from a separate location, from this chain of Zenitude Hostels. This is not a hotel. I imagine the company will run these places into the ground and sell them off for a huge profit. That’s business, I guess. The one-star reviews are telling the truth. Anything above two stars is an outright lie. Sort by lowest rating and you’ll see this has been going on since, I believe, 2017 and still into nearly 2026. Threats about defamation don’t count when you’re telling the truth. I kind of feel sorry for the front desk staff. They’re just following orders, and know to cut and paste the same replies to reviews. The good things are the location, good restaurants, a bar, attractions, and the train station. Everything else is bad.

We could walk to most places, and there was a supermarket and laundry within 400m. The room itself was spacious but pretty basic. Finding black hairs in the bed just before going to sleep was really disappointing. They need to do a better job cleaning.
