We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were so warm, the beds were super comfortable, and breakfast was superb. Château de la Huberdière is a beautiful, authentic place in a relaxing setting, and a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. Thank you for having us, we’d happily recommend it.

We had a lovely dinner on the terrace with the other guests on our first evening, and breakfast was delicious too. Our room was calm and lovely, with a view over the grounds. The owners looked after us so kindly and attentively. The Château felt personal and welcoming, almost like home during our few days there, and the location was superb. We’ll surely come back.

The library in the chateau was massive, I could have spent weeks in there. Patrick and his lovely wife made the whole stay so much fun, and my wife and I can’t wait to return. We also had a lovely group dinner at the chateau.

The room was hot and uncomfortable, and the old smell of the Chateau was hard to stand. We left after about an hour and found somewhere else to stay. We had arrived around 90 minutes before we should have, and would have gladly left, but he kept reminding us that we shouldn’t have come before 4:00 because he has a life. He also told us not to eat in our rooms because it attracts unwanted visitors, and said that’s why he has 4 cats.

Our wedding day at the Château was beautiful and unforgettable, with the lovely view we wanted. Ludovica and Patrick were amazing while we planned the event and on the day itself, paying close attention to our requests and making the occasion even more special. The food was delicious and super fresh, and all of us and our guests had an amazing time we’ll remember forever. Completely recommended!
