The steak was almost perfect, and we had a very good fish dish too. There was a good range of starters to choose from, and the menu du jour was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly, especially the English-speaking waiter who took such good care of us.

Brodie was charming and spoke excellent English. We’re Dutch, and he was lovely with us. The food was delicious and the service brilliant.

The restaurant food and service were excellent. The rooms are dated, though clean. Most people don’t speak English, but everyone was very helpful.

The room kettle wasn’t working, but the receptionist quickly offered us complimentary tea or coffee in the lounge, which was very kind. The hotel is cozy and nicely decorated, and I’d highly recommend it.

We had a really enjoyable lunch and will definitely return. The owner-chef personally provided great service at this very good, high-quality restaurant.
