The couple running this lovely little riverside restaurant were warm and knew how to handle my wife's need for gluten-free food. The meal was excellent. Highly recommend!

We left because I found the way we were spoken to rude. There was only one other customer in sight, and I had avoided tables with reserved signs, but we sat down before asking. The lady then gave us a dressing down in English after she realized we were British. If that was such a serious offense, perhaps a sign could prevent it and save her from being so affronted. I didn't enjoy the experience. Added the next day after the owner's reply: I knew a curt response would come, and it did. During your time living in the UK, perhaps you never came across the saying, “The customer is always right.” I still think you were rude, which is why I left, and I don't think you take criticism well. I'm sure I'll get the same insults as other people who've left negative feedback. Can't wait!

The view over the water was lovely, and Samuele is a really nice guy. His food tastes good and the prices are very fair. A great find!
