I came to these lodges in the forest for a content creation project, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The team were professional and helpful, and the lodges felt comfortable, well designed, and at home in their natural surroundings. I especially enjoyed unwinding in the Nordic bath. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place to disconnect, whether you’re there for a break or to create content in nature.

The cabin and its surroundings are gorgeous, and the Nordic bath was a great experience. It’s a peaceful spot, but at this price several details let the stay down. Our accommodation was only 10°C when we arrived, with no heating put on in advance, so the welcome felt cold. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We had just one pillow each, and they were flat and falling apart. For a place meant for a restful night, that’s unacceptable at this price. Good sleep matters, and two pillows per person would let guests choose what suits them. The €64 dinner for two, with a main course and dessert, came in jars to reheat. The tarts were left in the fridge without any covering. Breakfast used good quality products and tasted good, but there was only black coffee, no milk or hot chocolate, and nobody asked what guests preferred. There was no bottle of water on arrival or any blankets, either. We would have liked to have a drink outside and stay warm. The location is still very beautiful, and the experience could be exceptional, but these important details need work to justify the cost.

La Cachette made for a lovely nature escape. The lodge was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and it fit beautifully into its surroundings. I especially liked relaxing in the private Nordic bath in the middle of the forest. A great place to recharge, and one I highly recommend! 😊 Mélanie and Cyril

We brought our 18-month-old baby and were pleased to find a little bathrobe and hooded towel for her ☺️ The cabin in the woods was peaceful, and the Nordic bath was excellent. It really felt like a moment away from everything. For the price of the night, we expected some water or treats on arrival. Napkins would have helped too, as there was nothing to dry off with while eating. The extra brunch felt more like breakfast and didn’t add much value, apart from possibly the noon check-out instead of 11 am. There was no milk for the coffee.

The accommodation was unique, and we spent Christmas Day there with our daughter. One thing spoiled it: while we were in the Nordic bath, the cleaning lady arrived with two men, even though we had to leave an hour and a half later. About the welcome gift, we were asked to pick either a beer or a packet of biscuits. At the rental price, they should offer both or simply leave them in the lodge without making us choose.
