We had a lovely stay, and the place suited our needs perfectly. Sebastien gave us a warm welcome and speaks good English. Our ground-floor family room had a large bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, plus a sofa bed in the lounge and a kitchen. It was well appointed, though the shower could use an upgrade. Water pressure and temperature were both completely fine. After cycling in 38-degree heat, the big outdoor pool was just what we needed, and the water felt wonderful. There’s plenty of parking in a shared lot with a small Ibis hotel. It’s out of sight and felt secure. From there, it’s a pretty 10-minute walk over Pont de Loire bridge to Nevers Cathedral. Breakfast was terrific too: French bread, pastries, fresh eggs, homemade jams and honeys, freshly squeezed orange juice, and great yogurt.

Sebastian made us feel very welcome during our lovely one-night stop on the drive home. Our ensuite room was spotless and comfortable, with a beautiful view, and breakfast was delicious. Parking is across the road, and we enjoyed the walk over the bridge into Nevers centre. It’s well worth a visit.

We got a warm welcome from our host, and breakfast was scrummy. The rooms have been newly renovated, and there’s a pool for a quick dip. The Loire is very close, while Nevers is about a 10-minute walk away for a stroll and a meal. What a great place to stop!

We loved our room under the eaves. The whole property has been beautifully renovated while keeping its original character. Sébastien welcomed us warmly, even before check-in time. The property is gated, and our bikes could be parked securely. After a long bike ride, the pool was a welcome refreshment. Breakfast was excellent too.
