The staff came across as unmotivated, and the place didn’t feel clean or as though cleanliness mattered much. For what we paid, that was disappointing. We found a bug on the bed when we arrived, the breakfast area lacked napkins and other basics, and the boiled eggs were badly prepared. Upstairs, the soap dispenser in the washroom was nearly empty, as if it hadn’t been refilled in a long time. We’ve had much better stays at Ibis Budget, so this was well below what we expected.

We only stopped for one night, but the room had loads of space for our family of four. It was clean, and having the shopping centre right behind the hotel was handy. Free parking was a bonus too.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and for the price, breakfast was good. The fresh orange juicer made the best hotel orange juice I’ve ever had. Tea and coffee were complimentary, and I had a lovely fresh camomile tea. The service was good too, I couldn’t fault it. You also get access to the aqua park for the price.

We had a lovely time, including playing badminton. The hotel was clean and tidy, just like the photos, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great, and the tea and coffee bar in the lobby was a nice touch. Each night you stay gets you a free ticket for the vitam aqua park or the huge climbing wall, or you can use the spa for an extra €12. The aqua park was excellent, clean, and lots of fun, with beautiful views. There’s a shopping centre and food outlets nearby, plus a great Chinese buffet across the road. For Geneva, take the 272 bus from the nearby stop, but check the schedule since there aren’t many around midday or early afternoon. We used Uber a few times and had good service. Staying here costs less than staying in Geneva, though you need extra travel time. It’s worth it, especially if you have a car, but we managed fine without one.
