Hotel Alcove is well placed for exploring on foot. The old town and other sights are easy to reach, and the tram stop for the airport is nearby. Reception staff were lovely and happy to help. I also appreciated being able to leave my bags there before check-in and after check-out, instead of finding and paying for lockers in town. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Whether you get a coffee machine or an electric kettle depends on the room. Bring your own toiletries, as the bathroom only has a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel, and pack slippers too.

We only booked two days and immediately wished we'd had longer. Nice is beautiful, and we really liked the hotel too. It's just a few steps to the beachfront, and the location was wonderful. The mattresses were great and the bathroom was spotless. The receptionists were lovely and shared some really good tourist tips. We'd happily recommend this place and stay again.

A charming, peaceful hotel with comfy, clean beds and a great spot for getting to the beach with a short walk. There’s a pizzeria, bakery, and grocery store nearby. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with plenty of ideas for things to do around the area. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend it if you’re going to Nice!

The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the goat cheese was a highlight. The hotel was clean throughout, from our room to the dining area, and the staff were always available whenever we needed help. We had a great stay and would gladly come back.

We had a bed and breakfast stay at L'Alcove for four nights and were very happy with it. The staff were all fantastic, especially Ariel and Yazeed, who became good friends and were so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, with a coffee machine that made brilliant coffee. Breakfast had exactly what we needed, and the hotel is close to both shops and the beachfront. The prices were great too, so I’d definitely return.
